• SLAs: Iron Medical Systems offers superior SLA guarantees because of IO’s 24xForever – “always on” philosophy, 24x7x365 support and NOC services. We pride ourselves in making sure that when it comes to security and uptime performance, we are always dialed in and challenges are addressed quickly.
• Redundancy: Application servers, domain controllers, file and print servers, HL7 servers, even test boxes are all mirrored and set up for hot failover. This capability is unique to virtualization, but the way IMS executes it is even further optimized for your solution.
• Backups: Every one of your systems is configured in High Availability, enabling rapid automatic restoration of a server in the rare event of a failure. All systems have hourly snapshots for 72 hours allowing for quick rollback in the event of a corruption or systemic issue within your environment. Nightly backups to an onsite array are retained for 31 days, allowing for quick file level recovery as well as complete machine or environment restoration. Finally, the backups also are copied to one of our other secure data centers, encrypted, and are a rolling copy of the last 2 days, with monthly backups retained for 13 months as a longer term archive in the event of a disaster. The backups are all regularly audited for integrity.
• Proper Disposal: IMS follows strict procedures when disposing of equipment that once contained ePHI. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has very specific guidelines for destroying data. Improper destruction can lead to costly penalties and fines.
